Drying systems

This station is installed on the single way conveyor at labeller infeed (equipped with conveyor belt with suitable guides). It performs a mechanical action by blowing pressurized air at different rates and pressures and a thermal action by heated air on the containers body. The system gives to the containers a slight rotary motion (only for round bottles), in order to obtain a completely dry label zone of the containers (99% of the label’s area) and to perform a correct labelling operation.

The main component of the drying system is a centrifugal blower that feeds nozzles, whose position and orientation can be adjusted according to the shape of the containers: the typical blade like air jet of the nozzles guarantees the maximum operation efficiency.

The machine is equipped with electric board and frequency converter for the control and the adjustment of every function, traditional network interfacing and keyboard panel for the different operation areas. It takes maximum 5 minutes to adjust the guides inside the tunnel for change-over operations.

  • PRE-BLOWING STATION (GS)

Station installed at the pasteurizer tunnel outfeed on multi-lane conveyors, duly sized to remove excess water from cap and bottle shoulders during their passage through the tunnel. This station is composed of centrifugal blowers which feed air nozzles, whose position can be adjusted to the size of the containers to be handled. The typical blade air jet gives the maximum operating efficiency.

  • UNDER-CAP BLOWING STATION (ST)

Station installed on a single lane conveyor, after pressure-less aligner, duly sized to remove any water in the spaces under the cap’s crown and between the cap and the bottle neck. This problem mainly occurs on bottles coming from pasteurization tunnels.

  • FINAL DRYING STATION (TF)

Station installed on a single lane conveyor at labeller infeed. It performs a mechanical action (by blowing pressurized air at different flow rates) and a thermal action (with heated air) on the container body. The system gently rotates the containers (only for round bottles) to obtain a completely dry label zone (99% of the body) before performing the labeling operation. The main components of the drying system are centrifugal blowers which feed air nozzles, whose position and orientation can be adjusted according to the shape of the containers. The typical blade air jet from the nozzles guarantees the maximum operating efficiency. It takes a maximum of 5 minutes to adjust the guides in the tunnel to change the bottle size.
